Adjustable or fixed dumbbells?

FORMA Team · 4 min di lettura

Both work. The right choice depends on how much space you have, how much you want to spend and how you like to train.

Adjustable dumbbells

One compact pair replaces a whole rack. You change the weight in seconds, so you can go heavier on squats and lighter on shoulder raises in the same session. Ideal for flats.

Fixed dumbbells

Nothing to adjust, nothing to wear out, and you can drop them on a rubber floor. Great if you mostly use one or two weights, or if several people train at once.

Our advice

Short on space or training alone: adjustable. Plenty of space, or training with a partner: a couple of fixed pairs. Many people end up with one adjustable pair plus a kettlebell.

These are general training tips. If you're new to exercise or have a health condition, check with your doctor first. Product details are on each product page.
